kell 15.00 Raku ceramics workshop
Polymeri Ceramic Studio presents a two day Raku ceramics workshop that will take place Saturday August 22nd at 15 and Sunday August 30th at 12. to participate write to frekensnork-at-msn.com (max 10 people).
Raku is a particular pottery technique that involves special firing, which is probably the most exciting and spectacular of all. Ceramic sculptures or pots are being made of special clay with an open texture in order to survive the thermal shocks. The raku process involves rapid firing and cooling of the ware, with the pots being removed red hot and glowing from the kiln, this causes special effects on the surface of fired clay and makes glazes craze and reduce.
On the first day of the workshop people would prepare the clay objects and on the second day the burning procedure would fallow in open air outside Polymer building.
Workshop will be conducted by Mari Ait, Maris Loitmets, Leena Lüter, Marit Tedrekull
at 21.00 Odessa Pop meets HUH
This music event joins great performers from acustic and electronic field of music. Orgnized by Rampade Org in collaboration with Festival Hea Uus Heli (www.huh.ee) and concert series Odessa Pop.
