at 17.00 Invitation to brunch:
“The Power of Art - Open Brunch and Discussion”
Simon B. Haefele kindly supported by Art Container.
As a follow up to the “Art Brunch series for Estonia” by Simon B. Haefele the Austrian artist invites you to a late brunch. You are invited to think on the following questions and bring your thoughts to the get-together.
What to you think is the power of the artist?
What effects, what impact and what kind of influence on society can one single person have?
How is art being used by the various protagonists in the field and by yourself?
What could or should be brought to people by the use of artistic methods?
We call for people working within the “operating system of art” - Artists, curators, gallerists, collectors, academics, journalists, art therapists, organizers, museum directors, publishers, founding organizations, politicians and ambassadors, businessman and art audience - to come together, challenge the different viewpoints, and share thoughts and opinions about the prospects of the arts.
The discussion is going to be in English and will be recorded. The “Power of Art - Open Brunch and Discussion” is part of research on “The Use of Art on Disputed Boundaries” and part of the annual Polymer Culture Factory Festival.
